Editorial transparency

How our guides and prices are prepared

This page sets out the shared framework for guides and price sheets, separating sourced facts, editorial estimates and genuinely observed internal data.

Author and review

The named editorial owner is the Mestravaux.lu team. An individual reviewer or contractor is named only when their contribution is real, documented and authorised. We do not invent authors, projects or quotes.

  • The publication date records the first release.
  • The review date changes only after a real check or material enhancement.
  • Substantive corrections are incorporated with their references.

Sources and evidence

Rules, grants, thresholds and safety advice must point to a directly relevant authority, official body or technical source. Manufacturer documents are clearly identified.

Time-sensitive sources include a checked date. A general source cannot substantiate a precise amount or requirement.

  • Contextual references sit near the section they support.
  • The final bibliography retains every source used.
  • Normal editorial links are neither sponsored nor marked nofollow.

Price-range methodology

Displayed amounts are indicative editorial estimates built for an explicit scope: unit, supply, installation, removal, access and finishes. They are not described as Mestravaux-observed quotes when the internal sample is insufficient.

Scenarios compare consistent configurations. Only a contractor quote issued after measurement and project review is binding.

  • Included and excluded work is separated where possible.
  • Options are compared on a like-for-like scope.
  • Conditional grants are never automatically deducted from the gross budget.

Automation and artificial intelligence

Automated tools, including artificial intelligence, may assist with structure, translation, repetition checks and consistency controls. They are neither a source nor on-site experience.

Publication remains subject to editorial validators and a human decision. Sensitive facts require evidence independent of the drafting tool.

Freshness and limitations

Annual grants, technical rules and safety guidance receive enhanced monitoring. Outdated information is corrected, unpublished or flagged pending verification.

Guides explain decisions and limitations; they do not replace an on-site diagnosis or project-specific technical, legal or financial advice.
