Read the result carefully
The simulation helps you check whether an initial idea fits your budget and prepare a request that companies can compare. It adds three visible components: the window or door, installation or removal, and selected options. The quantity applies to each component, so you can see immediately what affects the total.
The result cannot assess the condition of the wall, manufacturing dimensions, the exact threshold connection or the space required for the shutter box. These details are checked on site. A company may therefore quote within the range, exceed it by explaining work outside the matrix, or propose a different configuration.
Use the “Finalize my request” button when the configuration suits you. The form opens on the same page and reuses compatible answers. You then add the project context and your contact details; the calculation alone does not create a lead.
Method
01 — Supply
Opening type, size range and material select an existing range. The number of panels then adjusts the hardware and profiles. If the matrix does not include the combination, the tool displays “priced on request”.
02 — Installation
Installation onto the existing frame requires it to be sound, stable and correctly fixed. Full removal involves more labour and making good around the opening. If you are unsure, the simulation keeps a wider range until the on-site assessment.
03 — Options
Triple glazing, colour, shutters and difficult access remain visible on a separate line. You can remove an option and see its effect without changing the rest of the project. The calculation adds no hidden multiplier between size ranges.
The size ranges support an initial estimate; they are not manufacturing dimensions. Measure the wall opening approximately in width and height, then select the closest range. For a French door or sliding glass door, use the overall width of the complete unit, not only the clear opening.
A sliding glass door wider than three metres, an arched or trapezoidal shape, or a very irregular opening requires a specific assessment. Do not select a smaller range simply to obtain a result: describe the actual situation and attach photos to your request.

Three situations, three practical responses
Don't automatically go for a replacement. Distinguish between adjustment, hardware, glazing, frame and connection to the wall, then compare repair and replacement when both are defensible.
Classify the openings by dimensions, facade and use. A single composition is simple, but the needs for light, noise, security and sun protection can vary from room to room.
Add transport, lifting, the threshold, drainage and any structural work to the budget. A sliding glass door fitted into an existing opening is not comparable with a project that widens the wall or creates a lintel.
