A solar carport combines parking shelter and photovoltaics. It can provide extra area, but its location is not automatically better exposed than the house roof. Assess manoeuvres, shade from buildings and trees, structure and electrical routes together.
Assess the actual location
Provide a plan, orientation, obstacle photos and available consumption data. Request capacity in kWp, estimated annual kWh and shading and loss assumptions. Design shelter and panels together
Coordinate frame, foundations, modules and fixings for site loads and exposure. A purpose-designed solar system is not necessarily a standard carport strengthened afterwards.
