Cost: bespoke shower screen
Price depends on shape, panels, opening and fixings, with survey and installation clarified separately. Compare adjustable standard products with genuinely necessary custom work. A manufacturer’s pre-tax price is not an installed Luxembourg price.
Editorial update on 18 September 2026
Compare identical shape and opening
Record dimensions, panels, moving parts, cut-outs and hardware references. Include necessary fixings and bracing. A fixed screen alone does not meet the same brief as an enclosure with a door.
Include surveying and fitting
Separate measurement, manufacture, transport, site access, possible removal, fitting and seals. Clarify responsibility for dimensions and potential damage. Check tax-inclusive total and exclusions.
Price useful options
Separate special finish, glass treatment and shape changes. Clarify cancellation or alteration after approval. The cited manufacturer document is a conditional preliminary quote, not a local installed average.

Frequently asked questions
Is bespoke always necessary?
No. Compare standard adjustment ranges with finished dimensions.
When should final measurements be taken?
At the stage agreed with manufacturer and installer, accounting for finished surfaces that determine size.
Can safety glass never cause injury?
No injury-free guarantee should be made. Select and fit suitable products and address damage under manufacturer instructions.
Does a threshold-free door retain all water?
It depends on product and configuration. Ask about limits and any threshold effect while preserving required access.
