Record flooring, underlay, intended moisture treatment and accessories. Compare documented performance rather than only thickness or underlay material. Do not assume cork or wood fibre outperforms every alternative.
Price transitions
Count doorways, edges, skirting, profiles and fixed-furniture constraints. Separate supplied and installed accessories. Equal area across several rooms may need different transitions from one open space.
Separate preparation and installation
