Describe quantities and access
Compare matching gutter lengths, downpipes and seals. Ask the provider to specify access equipment and its cost. A lift or scaffold cannot be assumed included in a basic fee without explicit agreement.
Separate care from repair
Itemise cleaning, old seal removal, preparation, consumables and waste removal. Distinguish unblocking, gutter repair and leak investigation from the initial cleaning. Agree how newly discovered work will be priced and authorised.
Compare a visit with a contract
Check visit numbers, tasks per visit, travel, taxes, supplies and reporting. Read agreed postponement, renewal and termination terms. Annual prices are comparable only for matching scope; no percentage saving is promised.
