Cost: small painting jobs
Measure surfaces actually treated and describe condition. No local standard-bedroom budget is established. Floor area does not determine wall area, and a small job may need several preparation and finishing visits.

Compare matching surfaces
List wall face, ceiling, door or skirting separately with preparation. Do not use living floor area alone. For multiple rooms, request a complete schedule instead of multiplying touch-up packages.
Break down the work
Specify protection, preparation, products, application and cleaning. Compare fixed or time charges with travel, any minimum and taxes. Supplying paint yourself is not always cheaper; have the product accepted first.
Plan finish and returns
Check drying, visits and agreed corrections. Specify scope changes if a blend test leads to repainting a full face. No fixed coat surcharge or universal one-day duration is assumed.

Will blending be invisible?
It needs assessment; agree a test and repair boundary.
Is a 12 m² room enough to price?
No. Measure painted surfaces and describe their condition.
Are two coats always necessary and sufficient?
No. Product, substrate and agreed result determine the system.
