For hourly work request rate, estimated hours and overrun approval. Define fixed fees by phases and revisions. For percentages specify base, taxes, included items, direct purchases and variations. A percentage does not automatically align interests or guarantee the budget.
Separate every allowance
Distinguish design fees, supervision, additional studies, works and furniture. Request expenses, travel and taxes. Clarify purchasing and presentation of any supplier benefits; discounts are not assumed.
Plan changes and end of service
Define payment stages, approvals, new options and programme changes. Specify delivered documents and usage rights if the service ends after design. Request a project-specific schedule rather than a standard number of weeks.
