Separate purchased and installed quantities
Wallpaper may be sold by roll and hanging by area or fixed price. Identify wall area, purchased quantity and repeat waste. Do not multiply the hanging rate by total roll area without checking billing convention.
Itemise preparation
Identify old paper and residue removal, repairs, levelling and absorption preparation where needed. Separate known work from items requiring approval after stripping. Client-supplied wallpaper does not mean the wall is ready.
Compare the total
List reference, quantity, adhesive, preparation, hanging, cuts, access and cleaning. Specify delivery, protection, taxes and exclusions. A short job or non-woven backing does not guarantee a lower price; keep repeats, substrate and obstacles comparable.
