Request a price tied to each element’s drawing. Separate window, equipment, survey and fitting. For unusual shapes, confirm whether a template or design work is needed and included.
Compare feasible variants
If a simpler shape or division is offered, compare drawings and usability. Do not assume wall alteration costs less: include assessment, work and making good in that variant.
Include work after manufacture
Specify delivery, handling, access, removal and junctions. Identify exclusions and how adaptations found during survey will be priced. Ask what terms apply to drawing changes after approval.
