Separate repair, motorisation and replacement
Describe retained and replaced parts. A motor-only price cannot be compared with box removal and a new complete assembly. For alternative scenarios, request scope and faults resolved.
Include power and controls
Price supply, controls, programming and any gateway. For solar, identify panel, battery, proposed position and maintenance access. Do not assume a remote removes power-installation work.
Include work around the box
Check fixing, cable routes, trims, junctions and paint. Box position and access can change the work. Compare the same opening list and request exclusions; no whole-house fitting duration is promised.
