Compare the same final condition
Describe tree, intervention and site boundaries. Identify assessment, any procedural work, protection, operation and cleanup. Align what remains and what leaves before comparing totals.
Identify handling and wood work
Request equipment, handling, cutting up, chipping, loading and transport lines. For retained wood, agree piece sizes and an accessible storage point. Do not assume paid timber recovery or that removal will be the largest cost.
Separate follow-on work
Price stump grinding or extraction, residues, fill and reinstatement separately. Identify planting and access works. Ask for weather postponement terms and costs incurred before work, without assuming fixed duration or height-only surcharges.
