For each door state faces, edges, frame and hardware; for skirting length, profile and removal; for stairs dimensions and components. A tread price does not automatically include rails, landings and risers. Keep quantities even in a fixed-price package.
Separate preparation and finish
Itemise cleaning, incompatible coating removal, repair, primer and finishing. Distinguish confirmed work from conditional items. Gloss does not imply a universal surcharge; full stripping should depend on existing condition and the selected system.
Add logistics
List removal, refitting, protection, storage, stair access, cleaning and waste. Ask for exclusions, tax-inclusive total and approval of newly discovered work. Multiple doors do not automatically attract a discount; compare identical scope.
