Compare fees before grants
Request tax-inclusive price with visits, scenarios, presentation meeting and report content. Separate CPE, specialist studies, quotation checks and implementation follow-up. Clarify extras for missing plans or changes to the brief.
Read grant limits as support, not fees
For a single-family house, the Klimabonus 2026 page states 2,000 euros for relevant advice when approval-in-principle applications are submitted from 1 January 2026 to 30 June 2027 inclusive. Support cannot exceed actual cost. Reductions apply notably where the same property already received advice support or the commission covers only specified technical installations. Check the individual case: this is neither an audit fee nor an awarded amount.

Request payment schedule and invoices separated by service. Advice support relies on documents including report, invoice and proof of payment and is linked to the approval-in-principle application. Do not assume immediate deduction from the invoice.

Is basic advice free?
Yes, the official Klima-Agence service is free and independent. Distinguish separately commissioned approved or specialist work.
Does an audit replace CPE?
No. Clarify whether the certificate is included and meets the regulatory purpose; an advice report does not automatically replace it.
Is thermography always needed?
Not by default. Ask what it should verify and whether conditions are suitable.
Does a report guarantee grants and savings?
No. Awards follow conditions and a decision; energy outcomes rely on assumptions that must be explained.
