Compare units and quantities
Ask for net lengths, corners, returns, waste allowance and profile section. For panelling, distinguish board area from moulding lengths. A single linear-metre rate can conceal different work.
Include preparation and finish
Separate removal, wall repairs, any special profile manufacture, supply, fitting and finish. Identify wall repainting and touch-ups after removal. Compare standard and special profiles with matching fitting scope.
Classify VAT by service
Guichet.lu distinguishes eligible work and exclusions, including interior joinery. Have skirting, wall panels and other trim classified by the contractor and AED where necessary. An overall renovation does not automatically justify reduced VAT across the package.

Must flooring be removed?
