Describe the whole doorset
List leaf, frame, threshold, glass, lock, cylinder, keys, handle and hinges. Specify finish on both faces and reproduced mouldings. Compare variants by identified performance and scope, not locking-point count alone.
Include removal and interfaces
Price survey, transport, protection, old door removal, fitting, sealing, adjustment and wall or floor repairs. Define temporary closure if needed. Bespoke manufacture does not mean installation is always charged separately.
Check grants and tax separately
Guichet.lu lists doors as an exception to the exclusion of certain interior joinery from housing VAT relief; general conditions and project classification still need checking. Request justified rates per item. Ud or timber construction alone does not establish an energy grant: verify scheme and project before committing.
