Quote: water-based underfloor heating
E.g.: low-temperature underfloor heating, renovation with thin screed

Specify rooms, known substrate, desired finish and existing heating. Supply plans and state whether the home remains occupied. Request assessment of the complete floor and connections, not just pipe supply.
Assess the floor build-up
Dry hydronic systems exist; Uponor’s Siccus FX documentation provides an example. This does not validate every substrate or finish. Confirm the selected build-up, finished height and building suitability.
Define operation room by room
Request heat-demand assumptions and served zones. Clarify links with the heat source, other emitters and controls. Underfloor heating alone does not establish a universal operating temperature or saving.
Coordinate trades
Identify who prepares the base, installs circuits, finishes floors and commissions the system. Request pre-covering checks, handover plans and a system-specific schedule. Assess effects on thresholds, doors and room occupation.
Indicative prices in Luxembourg
On quotation
Compare substrate preparation, insulation, heating system, connection, controls and finished floor. A square-metre price for pipe circuits alone does not cover complete floor conversion.
Subsidies and grants
No grant is deducted from the budget shown here. If a quote mentions support, request the exact scheme and confirmation of your eligibility before including it in financing.
Frequently asked questions
Can it be installed in any renovation?
Assess substrate, height, needs and connections. The existence of a thin system does not validate your project.
Is every floor finish suitable?
Request confirmation for the exact finish and complete system against their instructions.
