Woven cloth, smooth fleece, prepainted and ready-finished products are different. Start with desired appearance and wall condition. Covering does not replace assessment of a moving crack or repair of a loose substrate.
Assess cracks and adhesion
Photograph defects, loose areas and damp. Ask what requires investigation before finishing. ADFORS calls for a stable prepared substrate; covering is neither structural repair nor justification for concealing an unexplained crack.
Specify appearance
Request a preferably finished sample: weave, herringbone and smooth fleece have different relief. Weight alone demonstrates neither repair capability nor better flatness. Confirm reference, texture and wall or ceiling use.

Coordinate adhesive and finish

Plan care and later changes
Check texture, seams, adhesion and agreed finish at handover. Ask about permitted cleaning and future repainting. Before adding decorative wallpaper later, assess texture and preparation; installed glass cloth is not automatically smooth.
