Assign waste and clear access
The environment portal distinguishes construction waste categories and stresses sorting. Identify who removes rubble, packaging and protection, and their destination. Do not assume these are either included or excluded from the cleaning package.
Disclose dust and unknown materials
INRS advises against dry sweeping or blowing chemical dust, which resuspends it. Equipment must suit the pollutants. Report suspect materials and available surveys beforehand; routine cleaning is not decontamination.
Confirm the surface list
Specify glass faces, frames, tracks, skirting, floors, sanitary fittings and installed furniture. Identify paint and adhesive deposits without promising damage-free scraping. Request an instruction-compatible method and a trial where appropriate. Record inaccessible areas.
