Build comparable scenarios
Describe the building and needs. For each option, record proposed equipment, justified sizing and retained components. Distinguish a straightforward replacement from a fuel change: ducts, supply, storage or emitters may change the scope. The energy source alone cannot automatically rank offers by price.

Break down the investment
Request separate items for assessment, removal, materials, connections, adaptations and commissioning. Where a tank exists, specify its treatment separately. Record taxes, exclusions and quantities awaiting confirmation. Clarify an unpriced item before treating it as included.
Add operating expenses
Collect consumption assumptions and dated tariffs. Separate energy, standing charges, maintenance and inspections. For gas, Creos specifies inspection every four years: request its price separately if it is not included. These expenses are not all annual, and future tariffs are not guaranteed.

Check Klimabonus conditions for the equipment and scheme. Keep contractual payments separate from confirmed grants or pending applications. Prefinancing announced for certain investments from 1 January 2027 has its own conditions; it does not imply an immediate deduction from every quote.
Document a comparison over time
For a multiyear comparison, state the period, consumption, tariffs and included expenses. Test the effect of different assumptions. Present the result as a scenario, not a guaranteed payback. Keep the version and date of the offers used.
