Choose a suitable method
Balsan describes several carpet maintenance methods with composition-dependent limitations. Injection extraction should therefore not be presented as the only option for every fitted carpet.
Allow for drying
Extraction reduces moisture but drying is still needed. Confirm return-to-use and ventilation conditions for the actual textile. There is no single drying time for rugs, fitted carpets and sofas.
Agree results and logistics
Record existing marks and stain-treatment limits. A trial guarantees neither complete removal nor original colour. For off-site work, agree inventory, transport, return and cover for entrusted items. Have old or valuable pieces assessed separately before agreeing.
