Confirm the method
Kärcher notes that wood finish, treatment and condition influence equipment and settings. Confirm a compatible method and a trial where appropriate. This is not general approval for pressure washing.
Plan surroundings and water
Agree moving furniture, pots and vehicles, protecting doors and adjacent items, water access and suitable residue collection or disposal. Identify drains, planting and shared areas. Water containing cleaning products should not automatically be treated as rainwater.
