Describe the floor build-up, final finish and target level before requesting flowing screed. Binder, thickness and covering conditions must belong to a compatible system. Screed is neither just levelling compound nor the load-bearing slab.
Describe the complete floor
Provide areas, levels, substrate, insulation, services and intended finish. Identify special loads and height limits. Have thickness and layers designed by the appropriate professional; thicker screed does not automatically become a structural slab, and flowing screed is not mandatory for every renovation.
Select a suitable composition
Request the cement or calcium sulphate system reference and permitted applications. Buildwise identifies water sensitivity, possible surface laitance and interactions before covering anhydrite. Binder family alone does not establish universal compatibility with wet rooms, adhesive or heating.
Organise access and preparation
